BCSO’s performance of this agreement is subject to existing laws and legal process, and nothing contained in this agreement is in derogation of BCSO’s right to comply with governmental, court and law enforcement requests or requirements relating to your use of the BCSO Web Site or information provided to or gathered by BCSO with respect to such use. Unless otherwise specified herein, this agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the user and BCSO with respect to the BCSO Web Site and it supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral or written, between the user and BCSO with respect to the BCSO Web Site. BCSO does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or confidentiality of any communication/information contained in this Web Site. This Web Site should not be used to transmit any sensitive or confidential information to BCSO since such information is subject to interception. Information transmitted to BCSO via electronic means may not be received at all, nor received or reviewed in a timely manner.

Not a 9-1-1 Service

This Web Site should not be relied upon for emergency services and is in no way designed to serve as an alternative to the emergency services provided by 911 telephone service. Governing Law and Severance

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. If any provision of this agreement shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from this agreement and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. This is the entire agreement between the parties relating to the subject matter herein and shall not be modified except in writing, signed by both parties.

Modification of Terms

BCSO reserves the right to modify, change, update or alter these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. Your continued use of this Web Site constitutes your agreement to comply with such modifications. BCSO encourages you to periodically review these Terms and Conditions.
