The Brunswick County Detention Center will ensure that inmates confined in the Brunswick County Detention Center are provided the opportunity to visit with family, friends and professionals during times designated for visiting by the Chief Jail Administrator.  There are currently three (3) different ways to visit inmates incarcerated at our facility, online via the internet, on a smart phone at the Securus Video Visit app, and onsite at the Detention Center.

All inmate visits at the Brunswick County Detention Center are non-contact video visits.  Inmate visitation is a privilege and may be denied for disciplinary reasons.  Inmate visits may be restricted consistent with administrative limitations and the need to uphold the safety and security of the facility.

Online Visitation

The Brunswick County Detention Center now offers online visitation for inmates incarcerated at our facility via the internet.  This video visit may be conducted from any high-speed internet connection with an available web cam, microphone and speakers.  Inmates are allowed an unlimited number of online visits, providing that there are available visitation time slots.

Video Visit Anywhere

If you have a home computer with the web cam, microphone and speakers you may visit your friend or family from the comfort of your own home for a fee.  The fee for 20 minutes will be $6.95 or 40 minutes for $14.95.  To do this go to www.videovisitanywhere.com or click on the above link to set up your account.  You may also use your smart phone by downloading the Securus Video Visit app.

If you are having difficulties, please call Securus technical help at 1-866-558-2323. To take the hassle out of scheduling on-site visits and not being able to reach us due to high volume of calls, you may go to www.securustech.net, go to the Video Services tab, drop down to Schedule On-site Visit.  Schedule your onsite visit 24 hours in advance.  Provide your name, email and phone number and you will receive a pin number via email when your visit is approved.  All you need is the pin # and the information that is emailed back to you to have your visit.
