Detectives with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the community’s assistance for information regarding a larceny that occurred last evening.

Sometime between 5:45pm last evening and 6:45am this morning, a 1991 Ford 3930 tractor (similar to the one in the photo) was taken from a construction site located at 5101 Ocean Highway West in Shallotte.   The tractor is blue and white with an amber beacon light on top.

Detectives would also like to advise businesses or construction sites who have equipment on site to use caution and ensure that equipment is secure.
