Brunswick Nuclear Plant to Conduct Siren Test

***ALERT***

38 sirens within 10 miles of the Brunswick Nuclear Plant will be tested tomorrow, April 13, between 10am and 11am.

The test should only last for about ten seconds and may be performed more than once to make sure each siren works properly.

Remember, hearing sirens does not mean evacuate. In an actual emergency situation, sirens are sounded as a signal for residents to tune to a local radio or TV station that would carry emergency alert messages.
